I really did not like this play as it shows a very weird story of the Trojan War. I liked seeing Achilles and Patroclus portrait but was for me the only good thing going for this play.
I loved this book <3. I have waited so long to read this book because I was afraid that it would fall flat for me but it did not disappoint. I could really feel for Starr and the other characters and I shifted very quickly from feeling sad and angry for them to admiring them for their strength and laughing with them. Despite the very hard and important subject matter, Angie Thomas manages to make the book light at moments. For someone not being from the States, it gives a more in-depth view of what is going on and why tension rises so high. Overall I loved this story and flew through it.
I really did not like this book. I love the Arthurian legends and I looked forward to reading one from a female perspective but instead of making it interesting and show a different way of life is focused on having babies and relationships. I also found the story too long and drawn out and probably would not have finished it if it weren't for the audiobook.
I loved this novel, especially all the literature and Shakespeare references. I also loved the faire setting and cannot wait to see it again in the next installment.
I loved this play. I understand now why it is one of the most popular Shakespeare plays and why it is so often referenced as the Shakespearian tragedy.
I loved this novel <3. I cannot believe it took me so long to finally pick it up but once I was immersed in it, I could not stop reading it. I am seeing myself re-reading it so many times.
I at the beginning solely read this book because I love the musical Hamilton and its story was inspired by this book. But I really enjoyed my experience listing to the story and some times definitely teared up. The book is so full of history and important information regarding the independence of the United States and how they evolved afterward.
I am so glad to have finally read this book. The audiobook was definitely the way to go here seeing that I could not get through it by just reading it. I liked the concept and the ideas of the story, however, I found it quite dense.
I really loved this play and how it plays with the elements through Ariel. I really liked the different storylines it portrayed.
I had quite a hard time getting into the novel but in the end, it really picked up and I started to like it. I am a huge fan of the Arthurian Legend, so reading a novel that is a retelling from Guinevere's perspective was really interesting. I liked the side characters that were introduced as well as the hints to female-female relationships. Overall it was quite a slow read for me that picked up in the end and I will definitely pick up the next installment in the series.
