This book was on a solid track for a four-star until the last few chapters. I loved the ending of this novel and how it concluded the full series. I was in love with the world Cassie Clare has created in London and now I cannot wait to get to Chain of Golds.
It is probably more like a 3.5 stars read. This book dragged extremely for me in part 2 of the novel and I barely picked it up anymore. However, the ending itself was fantastic and now I cannot wait to read the last book in the series.
I liked this Roald Dahl novel, even though I do not like some topics that are addressed in this novel I am aware that these are a part of the time and I liked the overall concept.
I found the world that the novel created very intriguing and I liked the pace of the story. However, I was not the biggest of the insta-love in this. I will definitely continue with the series when the second book comes out as I am very interested in how the story goes on.
I was quite wary to go into this book because I did not really like Wade or rather did not really know much of him out of the Abbott siblings. I enjoyed how the story unfolded and it basically started with a bang however I found it quite over the place and a bit too fast-paced. It is still a fantastic installment in the series and I cannot wait to read the twins novels.
I liked this quick glimpse into the world of Percy Jackson and to see some more adventures that bridge the gap between some of the novels.
I liked this poetry collection as it showed a few interesting concepts and was light to read.
What a wonderful book about friendship and death. It tells the circle of life in a very good way.
I really liked this novel and basically flew through it. I sometimes found it has a few pacing issues and the format was off a bit but I loved the storyline and the characters so it did not take me out of the story. I will definitely read the other books in the series.
I was very wary about going into this novel just because Electra did not seem like a very likable character in the last installments. I loved the development of her character undertook in this novel and how she found her voice in all her troubles. I also liked Cecily's story and how it tied in with Electra's story. Furthermore, it was interesting to see Kenja during World War II as it is a perspective that I have not read before.
