I found the second installment in this series quite long-winded and repetitive. I still liked the story and the world but the characters in this book made decisions that did not seem to vibe with how the characters were set up in the first book. I probably still read the last book in the series once it comes out but I won't rush to start it.

I liked this installment in the series. I loved the sassy banter of the love interests and how the story unfolded. The only thing that put me of a bit is the timeline of the books, maybe it is because I am reading one after the other at the moment but I find that not all timelines correspond.

This was just not my cup of tea. I am not really a huge fan of mysteries in general and this book did just not grab my attention. I found the concept very intriguing but I found the relationship between Penny and Bo a bit weird as well as the set up of the story.

I absolutely loved this book. It created a completely new world with an interesting magic-system and very engaging characters. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

I liked this novel but I was a bit disappointed by the ending because it seemed quite abrupt and was not really satisfying for me.

I liked the second installment in this series. However, I found it dragged a bit in the middle part of it. I really liked how Rain tried to deal with her trauma and how Wes tried everything to help her.

It was an interesting summary of how the German political system is build up and I am sure it can be used as a guideline. However, I am probably too old for this book.

This book did exactly what it set out to do. It provided an overview of Shadowhunters' culture and their beliefs as well as their origins. I liked it for what it was but would only recommend reading it if you are into the Shadowhunter world.

I adored this story, I found it a very good relationship and could understand why these love interests acted the way they did.

I loved this book and flew through it. I found the concept behind it so interesting and liked how the story was told. Also, I found it fantastic how Val and Declan discussed their problems and tried to find a way to be together.
