It was very interesting to get a glimpse into the life of Roald Dahl as a child and see where some of his inspiration came from.

It is a very satisfying ending to the trilogy that has the same humor as the other two installments.

I really liked it even though some episodes felt like there were just thrown in there to give the book a bit more length.

I am usually not a thriller reader at all but even then I found that one really bad. I found the plot twist dreadful and it ruined the whole book for me.

I really liked this book. It was a great fantasy with well-developed characters, the only thing that knocked it down for me a bit was the very slow start.

I loved the second installment in this series. It was such a wholesome read and it focused very much on coming out in a society that usually is not shown as very open but it was beautifully done in this graphic novel. I love Jack and Bittle together and was very happy to still get glimpses into Shitty's life.

Somehow this book did not really vibe with me even though I love The Taming of the Shrew as a Shakespeare play. I found some of the characters a bit irritating and found the trope of the absent parent a bit overused.

I really liked this novel and how it presents a teenager struggling with her love life and how to tell someone you like in rather than standing in the background. It was fun to see glimpses of Abby and Simon again.

I was quite warry going to this book as Man Booker price winners are usually very hit or miss for me. I am surprised to say that this one fell quite into the middle. I enjoyed my reading experience and the story itself, however, I did not really get the chapters in italic in between and I found it a bit long.

I really loved this novel, it shows a very serious suspect matter in a very good way while praising the lost heroes and shining a light on how the war has affected people after the war. It also shows that what some people see as small acts that helped nothing can affect a lot of people and mean a lot more to them.
