Unfortunately, I expected so much more from this final as it delivered. It was nice to see how Alice developed but her writing somehow did not grow with her. So it felt like a young girl narrates the live of an adult.

I did not really get the point of the story and therefore did not really enjoy it.

It was a nice and quick read but I did not really get anything from it.

I have a weird relationship with this series overall. I did like the first book and did not really like the second one, so I was quite hesitant to read the last book of the series. I am happy to say that I really enjoyed it and found it a successful conclusion to the series. Overall I have to say that it is a really interesting world and I found the overall story arc very good. I longed for more scenes between Jin and Amani.

I liked the story but overall it did not really do anything for me but it was a nice distraction.

I have a hard time rating this book because I really liked the beginning and the ending but the middle part of the novel dragged on for me. The audiobook was fantastic and it kept me going.

I really liked this book and the storyline within it. Since I listen to it on audio I was a bit confused by the history sparked in at the end of every chapter because I did not see how it was distinct from the text in written form. Now I cannot wait to read the sequel.
