I read this book in about 2 afternoons. I couldn't put it down.
The book reminded me of [b:Gone Girl|21480930|Gone Girl|Gillian Flynn|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1406511734s/21480930.jpg|13306276]. It had the same general "thriller" and "mystery" feeling.
I thought that Hawkins' writing style was not as good as Flynn's in [b:Gone Girl|21480930|Gone Girl|Gillian Flynn|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1406511734s/21480930.jpg|13306276]. However, I didn't see the ending and plot twist coming.
The book had me guessing until about the last 40 or so pages.
I could see it becoming a good movie.
8/10. Would recommend.
