This book took about 60 pages to pick up. However, after it picked up, it was gut-wrenchingly sad, and suspenseful. It brought me to tears at least 4 times. It was extremely well written.

The plot was very good. The twist at the end was (slightly) unexpected.

However... The writing was.... Cheesy. The author was trying too hard to be witty and sarcastic. She also did a lot of telling how the characters felt, instead of showing.
