I’m sad because I love this author and series. This book wasn’t finished. A few major plot points were rotten with no explanation as to the in between. I should care about the story and the characters but I couldn’t connect because I got nothing of them. If you have read this I assure you it is not her normal quality of work

I loved this story and the characters. I was so invested from page one. Bree Wild is an incredible auto buy author. 

I did really love the plot, the story was fun, but the writing style is not my style, and for me ruined the immersion. Repetition of phrases that did make sense to repeat so much (how many times do you call it “foreign curiosity” before you realize that it isn’t a foreign thing anymore.) had I been able to better immerse myself in the book it would have likely been 4.5 stars but I just couldn’t. 

Wow. Wow wow wow. What a way to kickstart a career. Riley Paige knows football and as the daughter of a coach, and former manager of my high school team that means a lot to me. I was cheering for Jaxon and the boys both on and off the field, and the raw, real, and relatable description of Mads mental struggle was both comforting and inspiring. I am in fact so upset I will have to wait for so long to read Carter’s story. If you love football, love real characters, and have ever felt like you were too broken to be loved, this book is the one for you.
