I did really love the plot, the story was fun, but the writing style is not my style, and for me ruined the immersion. Repetition of phrases that did make sense to repeat so much (how many times do you call it “foreign curiosity” before you realize that it isn’t a foreign thing anymore.) had I been able to better immerse myself in the book it would have likely been 4.5 stars but I just couldn’t.
