Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist is a YA fiction book co-written by authors David Levithan and Rachel Cohn.

To me, some of the passages were quite brilliant (and some of them were lacking). The only blatant issue I had with the novel was that I felt Levithan was much more advanced as a writer than Cohn. At certain times I felt the writing styles did not mesh well, and I found myself skim-reading through some of Norah's longer rants.

That being said, the internal dialogue of Nick is nothing short of fabulous. Levithan offers unique and interesting insight into the head of an un-average teenage music buff. Levithan's phrasing is always unique and intriguing and offers a strange perspective of looking at the simplest things.

This is a novel that is clearly internally stronger than externally. Plot points are rushed through, but pages can be spent discussing the most minute of details.

Still, the novel is a really good read, and worth picking up. It can easily be read in one sitting.
