“They loved each other, and they were mine. I’d claimed them, and I’d claim their love too. I’d fucking earn it. Every second, starting now.”
honestly, ghost was the best character in this and i would gladly choose way less king and any other mess to have more of that messy, needy charmer. ugh. terrific read again, these books are basically excuses for smut, as most ABO, but damn are they entertaining. i hope some of the bikers left behind show up in future books, i grew attached to grim astonishingly fast, was even hoping eve would larch onto him or something :(.

What do you think a hitwoman thinks is a good courting gift?" I asked. "Is it like a cat? She brings him a dead body?"
there's some dialogue in this that is truly, sooo much fun, and now i am completely obsessed with kathryn moon.

THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
ok so there were a couple of parts that dragged on a bit, i think maybe Matthieu’s bits somewhere in there got a bit boring? and sadly, Rake was the character i least enjoyed, Baby sounded like a much more fun and satisfying omega, but i’m still debating where to read her book or not, maybe i will.
honestly, only the few parts that dragged docked this from a 5 star rating, considering this wide set of characters, it was bound to happen for me to like some more than others, and i *seriously* wanted Lola to bond to Wes, but i get why it was Matthieu in the end.
also, also, there were somethings that were sliightly underdeveloped, but i guess it had to be sacrificed for all the sex. seriously, So Much Sex, but well with six!!! love!!! interests!!! and they were all men!!!! that felt a little bound to happen??? i just wish we got to see maybe the outside alphas (matt and wes) a bit more included, and maybe more details about how Lola actually changed their pack dynamics, because we didn’t really get to see the difference???
BUT ANYWAY!!! don’t let my ramblings make it seem like this book, bc i seriously had ao much fun reading it and loved it and that’s why my brain goes into overdrive picturing even more details. but damn, these are probably spoilers…. but i write reviews anyway, so if you don’t mind spoilers and faced my ramblings…… CLOSE THIS TAB AND GO READ THIS BOOK ALREADY!!!

those are a lot of trigger warnings, but most are due to Lola’s past and none of that comes at her from her love interests.

“Try not to think of them as alphas. They’re nice guys, right, and they won’t play grabby hands with you? So they’ll be like…sexy air fresheners. Mood enhancers. Sound effect machines. Spare dicks if it comes down to it.”
this was way more well developted and less smutty than i had expected, and it was a pretty satisfying read! i hadn't expected to not get lost at all despite the big cast of characters, but since they were introduced mostly one by one, it made easy to follow and the men were pretty different from each other. this was surprisingly good and i love being surprised by my reads.
also, don't get me wrong, this was still steamy af, exploring a bunch of ABO possibilities i had never even considered before, and that guys, gals and non-binary pals, is pretty neat. i don't usually subscribe to omegaverse, mostly bc WHY would you do ABO without wolves?? but this was fun. i skipped the first book in the series bc it sounded less exciting, but this one i thoroughly enjoyed. onto the next!

“Staring at my messy hair in the mirror, I placed my hand on my chest. “I’m sorry I didn’t protect you before,” I said to my heart. “I’m trying to protect you now.”
the rating is pretty low but this wasn’t, like, bad. it was just a bit rushed and then it didn’t really need the last fifteen pages or so. though the steam was pretty steamy. sadly, i am very hard to please with children characters, and stevie was sweet but bothered more than she enchanted me. like, when did the kid ever go to School?? ya kno????
anyways, still a fun read with plenty of sweet moments, but i guess i just wanted more out of the story and i hate when i physically roll my eyes whilist reading, it makes me feel so mean.

“So?” Simon wiggles his hand, which is ridiculous. Then he licks his lips, which isn’t. “You’re my bodyguard. Guard my body.”
*sighs dreamily* tavia lark, i adore everything you write.
this was sooo much fun to read! forced proximity, bodyguards, vampire/werewolf, just everything the yummiest of yummy. i also love when werewolves aren’t just growling behemoths. this felt like it was written specially for me and i had the best time reading it.
simon was super cute and cody was even cuter and i love me some mystery sprinkled on top.

eh. this was corny and so-so. like some bits were too sugary and the dialogue was veery mid. fast food through and through— high on sugar and salt and low nutritional value. still makes you happy, though.

"I didn't know if I was afraid I'd somehow ruin hum or afraid of losing myself and knowing I would never be able to understand enough to give him what he deserved."
i was definitely not expecting to read about someone in the spectrum like this and man this book was sexyyyy, a really good read, interesting pace, different setting and approach to a neurodivergent character compared to other things i've read.
