“Try not to think of them as alphas. They’re nice guys, right, and they won’t play grabby hands with you? So they’ll be like…sexy air fresheners. Mood enhancers. Sound effect machines. Spare dicks if it comes down to it.”
this was way more well developted and less smutty than i had expected, and it was a pretty satisfying read! i hadn't expected to not get lost at all despite the big cast of characters, but since they were introduced mostly one by one, it made easy to follow and the men were pretty different from each other. this was surprisingly good and i love being surprised by my reads.
also, don't get me wrong, this was still steamy af, exploring a bunch of ABO possibilities i had never even considered before, and that guys, gals and non-binary pals, is pretty neat. i don't usually subscribe to omegaverse, mostly bc WHY would you do ABO without wolves?? but this was fun. i skipped the first book in the series bc it sounded less exciting, but this one i thoroughly enjoyed. onto the next!
