kinda weak and corny but still sweet?

FINALMENTE TERMINEI!!!!!! tal bauer escreve exatamente o tipo de livro que eu gosto mas sempre pelo caminho mais longo possível, com quatrocentas reviravoltas e complicações e o TEMPO TODO eu fico esperando a coisa ruim acontecer, o susto, o desespero,,, o que não funcionou mega bem com esse livro, que se arrastou um pouco…

mas como sempre, ler livros sobre homens gays de fato escrito por um homem gay sempre tem um tempero diferenciado. sempre canso quando termino de ler, mas sei que ainda vou ler vários outros livros do bauer no futuro, kkkkkkk.

tava indo super bem até que de novo veio uma referência de cultura pop que parece que quebra completamente a suspensão da descrença necessária pra ler esse tipo de livro,,,

mesmo assim eu tô me divertindo e vcs não podem julgar as minhas escolhas.

ok i wanna start by saying that this book title made absolutely no sense. the pretty pretty club is just a random setting, its owner is mentioned but doesn't even show up. and despite hazard and somers being described as very good looking, i don't think they qualify as pretty pretty?? this book title just made me sing beautiful boy by john lennon in a loop and that made unreasonably mad.

now with that off my chest!!!!

man, THE TENSION?? gregory ashe seems to be a master with chemistry and tension, man it was like going to SCHOOL with some scenes!! what a delightful read honestly, even if i figured the mystery quite fast and felt it was uncharacteristic with how smart hazard is that he didn't figure it out himself sooner, but then again, he did have a lot on his plate right then.

the most interesting thing in this book is the character development itself, even if there's a yummy who dunnit with interesting side characters, the drive in this book is still very much the MCs development and relationship, even if the relationship itself moves at glacial pace.

even though i do love slow burns, this seems to be going to the enemies to friends to lovers route. but! even if friend-to-lovers is not really my fave, i will be along to the next few books. i recommend this one For Sure.
