I cannot believe I'm about to say this... But here it goes: I may have outgrown Percy Jackson.



You see, this book was just fine, and witty, and funny, it even had action and a dash of romance, yet... It just didn't work for me anymore.
Some of the jokes that would've made me roll on the floor in a fit of giggles a few years back nearly made me roll my eyes as I read them. And that feeling made me feel so bad.
And I couldn't get over some things, like, uncle Rick seriously didn't elaborate Reyna's future??? And what about Apollo?? And Jason and Zeus!? Leo just flew to the sunset with Calypso without even sending a message to his GRIEVING friends??????

Riordan threw so many characters at us that he had to put a side the closure of many dear ones to me. Couldn't Reyna date Rachel Elizabeth Dare? She ain't a demigo. OR SOMEONE OR NO ONE, I JUST WANTED HER TO BE HAPPY!
Couldn't Grover at least have a line? And did Nico seriously need a boyfriend instead of coming on his own?
After so many questions unanswered you may ask me why I even gave this 3 stars.
Well, Percy Jackson is a good series for kinds under sixteen. And I'm not even that sorry for saying that.
