Wow. I am blown away by how deeply this book touched me. With the throes of grief still very much clawing at me, I should’ve known better.

I cried unexpectedly, & often while reading this book. I felt the emotions and hurt alongside these characters. And the love??  Between Florence & her family, yet also with Ben.. damn. This book got me and I am thankful to have picked it up when I did because it left me feeling hopeful in the end.

“It’s also never really goodbye—and trust me, we’re in the business of goodbyes. The people who pass through here live on in you and me and everyone they touched. There is no happy ending, there’s just . . . happily living. As best you can.”

This book is definitely a new favorite of mine that I will cherish and adore for a very long time to come. If you are fresh on the dark train of grief, be forewarned: The Dead Romantics will hit you hard, but it might also piece you back together again.

You're Invited is an engaging mystery that had me constantly guessing where the story was going & I am happy to say that it did not disappoint. The chaos and messiness of it all had me gasping and laughing out loud at the audacity!

The story follows multiple POV's as we try to unravel the mystery of what happened to the bride on the morning of her ultra glamorous wedding day. We start off with the female main characters POV months in the past and slowly count down to the wedding of her estranged best friend (to her ex-boyfriend no less). From the get go we know the FMC, Amaya, has only one goal in mind- to stop the wedding from happening. As the story unfolds, we get the POV of different characters involved in the lives of the bride & FMC as they are interviewed by private authorities. I loved this aspect because you really learn so much about the intricacies between characters, whether its friendship, romantic relations, or familial relationships. Not to mention learning some juicy secrets along the way!

The middle bit can seem a bit convoluted due to the big character list while keeping up with all the ins & outs of who is who (and who knows who, and who the heck is this person???) but I just kept it rollin' and was able to piece my confusion together. I will say that I thought the ending was a bit far fetched, but nonetheless, I really enjoyed the heck out of this!!

If you are a reality tv show junkie and love the DRAMA of it all, I think you will enjoy this too.

Easy 5 stars on this one. Killers of A Certain Age has the action, intrigue, a tiny splash of romance, and lots of female badassery!

More thoughts to come but this was freakin fantastic!!

A magical, spicy, atmospheric & perfect witchy read? All signs point to Y E S.

The lyrical writing transports you to the magical town of Thistle Grove. I loved the exploration of mending friendships after leaving your hometown and losing touch. Plus the sapphic relationship?! Holyyy-- the angst and tension was *chefs kiss*. I am so happy I loved another witchy read during this spooky season!

If John Tucker Must Die & Delilah Green Doesn't Care had a baby, then said magical prodigy entered the TriWizard Tournament and ta-da, you get Payback's A Witch. I know that might sound a bit wacky but trust me, you'll want to pick this gem up!!

As long as you're able to completely suspend your disbelief and go into with the hopes of being entertained, you might actually enjoy this on some modicum level lol. This sure went some type of way, that I found to be an interesting choice for Sager (I must admit I didn't see it coming so that was a fun lil surprise.) I'm not sure it was successful but hey at least he gave it a shot.

I'm really glad I liked this better than the last release! Either way, just go into it for a silly goofy time and you'll probably like it too.

Fangs is the absolute perfect graphic novel to read in one sitting during the peak of spooky season to deliver the most adorable love story between a vampire and a werewolf. The humor and little quips on stereotypes regarding each paranormal creature was clever and well done. I loved this and I know you will too!

This wasn’t anything special but I still found it to be mildly entertaining.
