This was such a fun read that I didn’t want to stop reading for too long! I needed to be back in the story because WHO IS J.R. ALASTOR?! Obviously you find out & I’m proud to say that I called it. My gut was right 👏🏼👏🏼

Anyways I really enjoyed the looming whodunit, mysterious benefactor/author, along with the various threads & narratives woven together throughout this story. The excerpts of Alastor’s work sprinkled into the plot was brilliant and added an extra layer of intensity & dare I say, fear.

I wasn’t a super fan of the ending and how everything was resolved but had a great time reading this one regardless.

An impressive thriller debut and I very much look forward to reading more from this author in the future!

I LIVE LAUGH LOVE Isaiah so much 😭❤️

I don’t know how LT makes me fall in love with every man she writes, but this sweet softie might just be my favorite!

The spice in here?! GOD BLESS! I’ll be keeping those scenes downloaded to my mental files thank you very much 🥵😮‍💨

I really loved watching Isaiah be so patient with Kennedy and allowing her to open up in her own time. Not only that but having HER make the choice was pivotal to their relationship and future.

“you’re worth more than how you’ve been treated the last three years, and I love you enough to make sure you know that. I love you enough to make sure you start living up to your potential.”

I loved getting to see all the characters in this one again. Their friendship and bond is one of my favorites things about this series as a whole! I cannot wait for our single funny King to get his HEA next 😍

A story deep rooted in history, family, and healing.

There were so many timelines and POV’s that at times confused me while listening to the audiobook, but I enjoyed this beautifully told, multilayered story.

“I don’t care how dark the world is for you. I’ll hold out my hand until you find it, and I won’t let go.”

Holy sh*t. I didn’t expect to cry while reading this book about monstrous boys, but the ending brought me to tears. This story really surprised me in the best way! The fact that this is a young adult novel is so impressive. Not to be dramatic, but I NEED to read everything CG Drew writes from now until the end of time.

This story follows Andrew and Thomas, best mates at a boarding school surrounded by a forbidden forest. Andrew writes dark fairy tales, while Thomas draws these frightful stories, breathing life into Andrew’s work. When these monsters start to wreak havoc among the school, Andrew and Thomas must figure out what these monsters want, and more importantly, how to make them stop their path of destruction.

I appreciated seeing the A sexual representation & LOVED the slow burn romance. These characters were so easy to fall in love with. Their tortured souls finding peace in one another was so beautiful.

“I am in ruins for you. I’d give you anything.”

Can we get a round of applause for Lana?! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I absolutely loved her character and standing up to the bully on multiple occasions! Not to mention creating a safe space for Andrew to talk about his sexuality when he was ready to share something he was still coming to terms with. I hope everyone has a Lana in their life!

“I think,” Andrew whispered, “it sucks to be ace.”

“I think,” Lana said, “the world sucks for making you feel that way.”

This story deals with heavier themes which I was expecting b ur the gut punch at the end got me in my feels! I thought this was so well written, even my paced and heir me coming back for more! An all around fantastic book.

I just loved this book SO much & am already yearning for a reread. 🥹🖤

This story follows Mareike and her fellow dancers at a nocturnal dance house. She blends into the shadows, but once the star dancer takes interest in her, Mareike gets a taste of the limelight and suddenly desires more.

At barely over 30 pages, this little comic has such stunning artwork with a muted palette that served a tempting allure for the eerie atmosphere. This does contain body horror which was quite interesting.

Calling this a queer horror romance is a stretch because there was on mostly only the allusion of a romance happening. I really wish this was longer because I enjoyed the vibes & thought it was fantastic for such a short little read.

Unfortunately this felt totally unnecessary and off kilter compared to the hope that the previous book left off on.

I had an issue with the story’s pacing and felt the newly added element from previous characters took away from my ability to connect with them, which is so strange to say but you’ll get it if you’ve read the first book at least.

I’m bummed, but the writing is still great.

This read like The Purge on crack. People were dying brutal deaths left and right!!

The root cause of violence in this survival story was dumb, but this read quickly because so much was constantly happening. There wasn’t really a dull moment.

This isn’t for the faint of heart because of the level of violence & brutality. I highly recommend checking trigger warnings before reading.

This was such a unique story that kept me curious about what was actually happening. I enjoyed the story but didn’t completely love everything about it.

This story about a young man waking up with no recollection of how he got on this space craft paired with very little knowledge of the mission other than the basics created a mystery element with intensely high stakes that kept me engaged throughout. I am jumping right into the next book because I knew if I waited, I’d never get around to it. I’m curious to see what happens especially after the ending of book 1!
