Extra points because now there is a ghost dog

I am enjoying this series. The characters continue to make me smile and I like checking in with the ghosts down on the Jersey shore. The reveal was not what I was expected. I wish there was a little more Jeannie in this story because she is an absolute hoot. But as long as Maxie is still around I am sure to enjoy. And now with new characters introduced at the end (see spoiler above at your own risk) I am more than ready to download and listen to the next installment 

Well, I can check this off as read now and meet the challenge prompts for a poetry book. I once again was victim to fooled by title. If you tell me this is a poetry book of 3am thoughts, I think 3am thoughts are like shower thoughts. Stream of consciousness and quick and witty. This was emo poetry through and through. 

A predictable but quick read. The tension between the two main characters throughout sets up for the final reveal at the end..that is not a surprising ending. Although if I ever worked for someone that made me pick out their clothes — socks and underwear included — every day of the week you would see a Leah shaped hole going right through the wall as I run far, far away. 

This was a nice story that touched a little on the fake dating trope and a little on the instalove trope…oh did I mention it’s because the main character fell in love with a woman in one day and then a year later agreed to marry the woman’s brother so that he would get his inheritance? Yes. So it went exactly how you thought it would. This was the first book I’ve read by the author and I hope to read more. 

Omg this was not good. The I just met this dude and I think he’s the one is not cute when the guy is borderline crazy with one red flag after another. I sped up the audiobook speed to just be done with it sooner. Already looking forward to starting something tomorrow to get this taste out of my mouth. It was just not cute.

but with these types of stories I’m never bothered if I can guess the bad guy. It’s more about enjoying the cozy little mystery. And loving sassy ghosts. Onto the next one…

I’m not sure what it means to say I not only read a book called glory hole, but also enjoyed it. It was a silly, sexy combo. There’s more books in the series so I will likely read more. 

This was a sweet story with a happy ending — just how I like them. Then two main characters were likable and extra points for the use of the word Skritches when it comes to petting dogs. Even if it wasn’t their dog but rather a random dog in one scene at a party. Though therefore they get the points for petting the dog at the party. This is my first book I’ve read by this author and I downloaded the book for Amazon first reads. And actually read it in the same month o got it. I look forward to reading more.
