I have never hated a character as much as Roach. Reading her POV and her thoughts brought such a deep visceral disgust and burning raw hatred. I really wish that Roach had

gotten punished by the narrative and actually been confronted with her behaviour

but the ending is much more realistic. Such a searing and timely critique of the true crime genre.
