Each of these stories is funny and clever! Some elements of the stories stay true to the familiar story we already know, and some details are changed. Sleeping Beauty pricks her finger on a record player needle. Cinderella is driven to the ball by a chauffer with a white town car. Rapunzel falls in love with a boy from a rock band.

The best thing about this book is the beautiful illustrations! The designs for each era of history are so clever. The costumes for each character, the buildings, the furniture, the cars and streets, every element of the setting is just perfect. Each scene is meticulously designed with gorgeous patterns and details. I love the expressive lines of the art work and the bright colors. It really brings each story to life, and makes it a delight to read.

Freddy the mouse and Annabel the elephant become penpals and write letters back and forth. Freddy tells Annabel about the bullies in his neighborhood who stole his skateboard, and when Freddy stops writing altogether Annabel is worried that something must have happened to him.

I love that Annabel's letters are humongous and taller than Freddy. And Freddy's letters are tiny, and Annabel has to read them with a microscope. That made me laugh! Nothing can stop those two from being friends!

I really hated the illustrations. The art style is weirdly bulbous. The character's faces are distorted, and their arms are too long. Nothing is in correct proportion to anything else, and it's confusing.

However, I loved the clever story so much! The writing is excellent, and the characters are fun. It's a delight from start to finish!

This amazing craft book has writing paper, scrapbook paper, stickers, bookmarks, cards, envelopes, postcards, decorative stamps, photo booth props, and cutouts you can paste and use elsewhere for dozens of creative projects. There are little paper dolls and 3D houses you can assemble. The book is full of games and activities. There are even little journal books you can remove for your own notes!

The designs are really attractive and sweet. There are rainbows, bicycles, stars, foxes, flowers and butterflies, but also cool owls and tigers. Some of the designs look vintage, and others are more modern, but they are all beautiful. The colors are bright and each page is thoughtful and appealing.
The construction of the book is excellent with thick, sturdy paper.

I can't wait to dive into some of these creative projects and start cutting things out and pasting them onto other things. I want to write postcards and send them to people! I want to put stickers on everything! If you are in a creative slump, this book would definitely inspire you. This is not just a book for kids; teens and adults would love it too!

This 1,000-piece puzzle is beautifully designed and thoughtfully crafted. The puzzle comes with a little 9"x6" poster of the art, so that you can use it as a little poster, put the art in a frame, or use it to help you complete the puzzle. I was especially impressed to see that the backs of the puzzle pieces also have a little repetitive design of some blue flowers. It's delightful to see little details like that which make this puzzle really special and show the exceptional craftmanship and careful thought that went into the design and manufacture of the product.

I love the cheerful artwork! I think I will do this puzzle in the winter when I'm longing for sunshine, because the bright colors and attractive art will cheer me up. It's such a soothing picture and doing puzzles can be really calming.

The book details the weirdest, craziest, and most insane things to happen in the history of sports. There are strange injuries, dumb quotes, and the worst bloopers on the field. There is a whole section devoted to the weird superstitions that players have, from eating the same thing before every game to wearing the same shorts (unwashed). And it's not just limited to pro sports; there are also high school and college stats, as well as international oddities from around the world.

I like how this book is divided into sections, and the information is easy to read in small snippets. It's funny and entertaining! The sarcastic writing style really brings out a lot of the humor and craziness in the subject.

I love the cool drawings and illustrations! There are some funny cartoon drawings that illustrate a joke or fact that really adds to the enjoyment of the book. I also appreciated the design of the book. The chapters have nice designs around them, the text is divided into sections on the page making it easy to follow each bit of information.

Did you know that some frogs can grow hair? There is a lizard that can run on top of water, and moth that drinks the tears of other animals. The okapi look almost like zebras with the head of a giraffe on a short neck.

This is such an informative and interesting book! Every page is filled with amazing facts and information about each animal. There are also wild destinations around the world where you can see cool and weird animals on land and in the sea. I loved reading the short bios of famous and influential animal experts. Of course I had to take some of the quizzes to find out my animal personality and my animal super-hero name.

I love the colorful photographs on every page! The photos are so vivid and full of action, they really bring the subject material to life. I like how the factoids and info are organized in bite-sized sections for easy reading.
This book would appeal to young people who are curious about the world and who love animals!

This book gives an interesting timeline of human history, following the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, Ancient Civilizations, the Greek and Roman Empires, Chinese emperors, the Byzantine Empire, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Reformation, the Industrial Revolution, up to the present time. The last pages are divided into each decade of the 1900s, giving more details about each year, right up to the year 2020.

I love the whimsical art style that illustrates each time period. We see cartoon people discovering new lands, inventing new machines, writing and composing and painting. I love the designs of each page that include so many historic things, including architecture, landscapes, historic clothing, and culture.

There is a paragraph summarizing each time period, and little bits of information scattered around the page within the illustrations. It's like a treasure hunt for knowledge! I am very impressed with the way each era is summarized, and the wonderful factoids about history.

One thing that I really hate in history books is when a scientific THEORY is presented as if it were a fact. This is so unethical, and it would be so easy to correct. If only the text said, “One theory about the Stone Age is … etc.” But they don’t say that. They write as if the age of the earth and the theory of how humans evolved are established empirical facts that have been tested and proven. But they’re not. And it is dishonest to present a theory and pretend that it is a fact. It makes me not trust anything else that the book says. If they are misrepresenting one theory, they might be doing it all over the place. How can I trust what is written in this book if they aren’t careful to present the information in the correct way?

There are pages with incredible information about Stonehenge, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Vikings, Pompeii, lightning, glaciers, hot air balloons, giant sequoia trees, robots, the Kraken, and beautiful monarch butterflies. The subjects are widely varied and wild!

I love how colorful this book is! Each page is full of vibrant photos and bright text boxes with nuggets of wacky information. This book will definitely spark your curiosity and inspire you to search for more information on these crazy facts!

In this classic story, Anne is an orphan who comes to live with Marilla and Matthew. She has an overactive imagination and a talent for getting into mischief, but she is delighted with her new home at Green Gables.

Condensing such a complex and deep story into manga form works very well here, and the plot closely follows the original story. Even the dialogue is almost always exactly the same as the book.

I loved the artwork so much! Beautiful panels in every chapter that draw you into the story. The artwork brings a lot of emotion into the story, and firmly connects the reader to the characters. Seeing the expressions on character's faces as they experience joy, grief, fear, sadness, or relief, made me feel those things too as I was reading!

Every character is exactly like I always imagined while reading the original book. Anne is full of joy and playfulness. Her imagination shines through her eyes when she is caught up in a beautiful dream world of her own. Marilla is the perfect balance of stern and practical strictness, but with a soft heart of gold. I was enchanted with Diana and Gilbert and the whole gang!

What a delight to revisit this beloved classic in manga form!
