Another great book in this series! This time around a lot is changing in Bobby Pendragon's travels and things are getting serious for Mark and Courtney too. The plot in this one is a real game changer for the series. I'm glad that the circumstances and adventures are changing, b/c series like this can tend to get formulaic after a few books. Not this one!
This book covers more varied settings than the other books since most of it takes place inside Lifelight, a virtual reality program that feeds off your imagination and thoughts. I actually didn't like all the different settings, although it works with the story, because I like a little more continuity, I guess. Plenty of plot twists and some new characters kept things interesting, while the non-stop action and mystery made it impossible to put down!

Another great book in this series! I am enjoying these so much. Great all-around writing, compelling characters, a twisting plot, and wonderfully imaginative world-building. One of the things I appreciate most about this author is that when he describes a scene on an alien world, I can really picture it! He describes it in a few choice words, and a clear picture forms in my head. Even if it is something totally weird and unreal, the writing is clear and concise.

Four fantastic short stories with Poirot! The plot twists had me guessing, and even though you can usually assume that the most obvious solution is NOT the real solution, I was always surprised when each mystery was solved. Great writing!
