Although some parts of this book are outdated, (VHS tapes and cassette tapes are mentioned! haha!)
most of it was full of good advice and interesting ideas for organizing and maintaining a home.
I really liked how each section is very detailed, and goes into how to buy an item, what quality to look for, how to care for it, clean it, and use it. Sound advice and very helpful!

I liked Usagi much more in this volume, because she doesn't whine and cry about everything.
(Well, I mean, she is crying sometimes, but at least she has a good reason to cry, and isn't just being a baby about every little thing!) She has some good character development, as she learns to step up and become a true Guardian and a leader.

I loved seeing Tuxedo Masks's storyline taking center stage, and all those mysteries revealed!

I especially like this volume because my favorite character is on the cover, Sailor Mercury! Although, she has very little to do in this volume other than fight alongside the others.

I really loved all the pretty transformations in this volume, the new magical powers and crystal things, and the way that Usagi finds strength and bravery from the encouragement of her friends and her love for Tuxedo Mask. I love how the Sailors all band together, willing to give their lives for each other, fighting against evil, and generally being awesome!

Chibi-Usa was always a weird character to me. She just never seemed to fit into the story, in my mind. Somehow I don't remember her being introduced this early in the story, but here she is, being all mysterious and bratty.

In this volume, several of the Sailor Guardians are kidnapped, Sailor Moon travels to the future, and we find out who that little Chibi-Usa actually is. Lots of lovely mysteries being solved, and lots of action! We also meet Sailor Pluto for the first time, and she's very cool!

Chibi-Usa always got on my nerves, but she has some actual non-bratty moments in this volume, so I like her a little better now. It weirds me out how Usagi doesn't get along with Chibi-Usa at all, and she's all jealous and stuff. Get ahold of yourself, Sailor Moon! Where is that compassionate heart?!

I love all the pretty Princess dresses in this volume. Everybody gets to dress up in flowing dresses with fancy hair! Even Tuxedo Mask has a new flowing lavendar cape in the future. Ah, the beautiful people!

This is so beautiful and sweet and sad. Gorgeous artwork and a bittersweet story.

Wendy and her brothers are in a car crash, and Wendy swears she saw her youngest brother Michael flying off with Peter Pan, but no one believes her. She gets in trouble at school, and sort of connects with a weird guy named Peter. He's enigmatic and unreliable, only interested in having fun, but Wendy believes he could lead her to her brother. Wendy's therapist tells her to draw in a journal, and she begins to document the things she sees that makes her believe her brother is alive somewhere in Neverland. Wendy's family is grieving, Wendy can barely sort through fact or fiction, and it's Wendy's other brother, John, who suffers the most. Can they find their way to Neverland and bring Michael back? or is he really dead?

This little book broke my heart in 96 pages. It's a surprisingly full story for such a short one. I love how such dark subjects like grief, the nature of reality, guilt, anger, and desire are all dealt with so gently and yet with a raw and honest quality. Wendy's reality is woven so delicately together with the story of Peter Pan, including characters, scenes, dialogue, and magic from the original Peter Pan story.

Wendy has such an original voice! Her character is immediately lovable and relatable, because she's broken and rebellious and full of faith. I think what throws the story forward is Wendy's forceful desperation to KNOW. I'm so in awe of the brilliant writing that created this deep and complex character!

The artwork is indescribably beautiful, and the way that the colors show the alternate reality that Wendy sees, while the world of other people remains in black and white... simply genius. I'm so delighted with every page! I just had to stop and stare at some of the illustrations for a little minute and drink it in.

Time travel always has its problems, but oh my goodness! So many ridiculous scenarios that couldn't possibly make sense with everyone time traveling around like crazy.
SpoilerI hate when Chibi-Usa grows up into the Black Lady. She's creepy and gross and she kisses her own father!! Bleh!! This is so disgusting I want to vomit.

I really love Sailor Pluto! She's so stalwart and dependable, and then she risks her life to save everyone. It's her faithful love that saves the day!
I like how there is a lot of emphasis on believing in yourself and lending strength to your friends.

Somehow, I've never been a huge fan of Les Mis, but this manga changed my mind! For the first time, I actually enjoyed reading this classic story!

The artwork really brings the story to life, and enhances the characters so much. I loved seeing cute little Cosette when she's a tiny little girl, and the brave and generous Jean Valjean striving to protect her. Seeing the expressions on their faces made them more real and relatable. The story is full of action and suspense, and that is reflected excellently in the art panels.

The writing is really brilliant, especially since it can't be easy to condense such a complicated story into this format. In just a few words, the characters' deep motivations are laid bare to the reader. The plot is easily understood without losing any of its multiple layers of meaning and emotion.

I loved it so much!! I read it all in one sitting, and I can't wait to read more of these Manga Classics.

I really liked how the Sailor Scouts do some more normal things in this volume; going to the amusement park, studying for exams, going on a retreat in the mountains. It makes a nice change from all the transforming and monster fighting.

There are so many disguises in this volume! Almost everybody is in disguise at one point or another, and I love the mysteriousness surrounding it all. We meet a whole host of new enemies and new friends. I was weirded out by Sailor Uranus though.

I love all the violin-playing that goes on! Music in manga has a particular attraction for me, since I'm a musician, and the artwork for musician characters is always so lovely.

Chibi-Usa is much less bratty in this one, but she obviously can't keep a secret. She doesn't seem to understand the concept of keeping a secret at all! haha! That made me laugh. She just blabs everything to the first person who asks her. No guile whatsoever. Adorable!

I was intrigued by Hotaru's mysterious illness. Why is she sick? What strange experiments is her father cooking up in that dark laboratory? She looks like such a sweet, damaged character. Can't wait to know her more!

Love conquers all! I love how the Sailor Scouts love for one another, the strength of their friendship, and the solidarity of those sisters (along with Tuxedo Mask and Chibi-Usa too) is the one thing that always defeats the monsters.

In this volume, there are some Sailor Scouts who want to do their own thing, and it takes Sailor Moon's big heart to unite the girls into a team again.
I loved finding out more about the mysterious Hotaru, and seeing how her unlikely friendship with Chibi-Usa develops and affects the story.
Sailor Moon gets a pretty cool power-up in this volume, and even Chibi-Usa realizes the extent of her magical power. The whole Sailor gang together make a fierce and determined army of goodness and light!
