I really liked how the Sailor Scouts do some more normal things in this volume; going to the amusement park, studying for exams, going on a retreat in the mountains. It makes a nice change from all the transforming and monster fighting.

There are so many disguises in this volume! Almost everybody is in disguise at one point or another, and I love the mysteriousness surrounding it all. We meet a whole host of new enemies and new friends. I was weirded out by Sailor Uranus though.

I love all the violin-playing that goes on! Music in manga has a particular attraction for me, since I'm a musician, and the artwork for musician characters is always so lovely.

Chibi-Usa is much less bratty in this one, but she obviously can't keep a secret. She doesn't seem to understand the concept of keeping a secret at all! haha! That made me laugh. She just blabs everything to the first person who asks her. No guile whatsoever. Adorable!

I was intrigued by Hotaru's mysterious illness. Why is she sick? What strange experiments is her father cooking up in that dark laboratory? She looks like such a sweet, damaged character. Can't wait to know her more!
