In my opinion, the synopsis didn’t do this book justice. There was SO much built into this novel and each persons POV. This is honestly I book I think I’d like to reread in a group setting. 

Recommend to anyone who enjoys locked room thrillers with apocalyptic horror vibes.

They travelled to Dr. Hazards Institute of Natural Therapeutics. These sisters believed they would be receiving to tier medical attention. Instead it so worse than they could have ever imagined. After the death of Claire and Dora being rescued, Dora insisted on Justice for her sister.

Wow, I had no idea about this case. Even though it happened over a hundred years ago I feel for these sisters. But it also makes me think of all these “specialists” today who keep popping up, as well as these health and life coaches from these MLM communities. Although it’s not to the extent of this woman, but it makes you see things a little differently.

SERIES RECAP 👀 
The Barista has made it his life’s work to match monsters and humans, he believes monsters deserve love too and want humans to stop being scared. But not all monsters agree with this. 

FINAL THOUGHTS 💭 
Okay so it took me awhile to read this series after reading the first book because my number one turn off was in it. I honestly don’t know why I continued after that but im glad I did. I loved how quick of reads these were and fell for some of these characters. I almost wanted more plot because I LOVED the story line. I think that’s what happened, I came for the smut and stayed for the story. 

“I was sandwiched in a truck between an orc and a werewolf. I’d wrapped myself from head to fucking toe to protect everyone from what could be certain death, and yet—they did not give a fuck.”


I think this one is in the running for one of my faves of the series, there’s just something about fallen angels.

Eighth in the Creature Cafe series we are moving right along. I love meeting new people in this world. The stories are fast and fun.

Did love all three stories though. Duncan makes disgusting enjoyable.

After a devastating breakup and on thin ice at work, receiving job assignments that aren’t his department. Everything is wearing on Royce and he decides to hit up a local bar, where he finds a beautiful man and decides to take him home…

FINAL THOUGHTS
Although the beginning of the book was good I found it started slow for me, could have been the mood I was in at the time. But this one soon surpassed the first in the series for me. I kinda love Royce and the whole storyline. 

I went into this know the bare minimum of Waco. I haven't watched any series on it, haven't read any books. So it's all pretty much new to me. This audiobook was enjoyable to listen to, but sometimes I found it reading more fiction, just could be the writing style. This book DID make me want to know more.

oh my gosh!!! This was so good, it was not one I would pick have picked up because it was never on my radar until a email from Book Riot put it there. There was so much into this thriller every time I thought I knew what was going on, bam the author made me look another way.

I went into this book knowing nothing but I thought the cover was cool. I noticed it one day at Walmart. 

I wanted to love this one becuase the concept is there but I found myself getting lost in the different POVs and timelines.
