4 stars because I'm trash for Snowbaz and the last 20%ish of this book.

However, the last two books in this series (which is 2/3) feels like fanfiction of the first one, extending unnecessairly the story and taking too long to solve loose threads (Simon's parents), which in the end was solved in such a hurried manner I can't believe it took three books to get to that point.

Also, Nico was one of the main plots of Caarry On, completely disappears at the end of book 1 and then reappears without one mention of his dead sister?!

Don't know, the more I think about this book series the more I find things to be upset about, because this had so much potential.

I would've been happy if Carry On were a stand alone, but if there is a 4th book I won't be sad to get another chance to better finish the story.
