Every time I tried to read this I would just get distracted. It couldn’t hold my attention and ultimately put me in a reading slump. I’ll try this book again this year.
Explored very interesting topics and I think it could’ve been very good if written differently. This felt like porn with an apocalyptic side plot. There were too many characters introduced, many unnecessary, which was way too hard to follow. The characters were not interesting either which made it hard to read. Was highly recommended so I was disappointed to DNF this.

DID NOT FINISH: 11%
Too hard to keep track of everyone. I couldn’t get past the first few chapters because it was too hard to remember all of these names with their stories switching back and forth.
This is so drawn out and boring sorry.
I just can’t get into this at all… the conversations are all so awkward and drawn out. I had to force myself to read this even to get to 70 pages but just can’t get further. I DNFd Normal People too so I think I just don’t like Sally Rooney’s writing.
Moderate: Death of parent
