so very funny and sweet and romantic and hopeful. the audio is awesome and i loved all the characters. i do think this is more of a happy for now than a HEA, so i’m not upset about it, but i do wish there was a bit more at the end.

PS: I Hate You

i  do not really care about this pairing and am not invested enough in either of the characters to see them through the story. disappointed!! the premise seemed interesting!! her still being obsessed with him after 7 years is 😬 and i just know when i find out he’s been in love with her the whole time or whatever despite being MARRIED i will be pissed.

please don’t expect me to speak eloquently about this book for at least a week. this turned me inside out. i think i felt every single human emotion while reading this. it is simultaneously romantic, funny, hopeful, heart wrenching, embarrassing, hot, painful and a million other things. i actually had to get up and walk around my house to cool down after some moments. katie’s writing is GORGEOUS and being in leigh’s brain was an experience i will be impacted by for quite a while. i’m going to force my bff to read this by telling her it’s january/gus vibes and everything we love about jessica joyce books (which is everything). i cannot believe that my first book of the year is probably going to be the thing i compare other romance books to for the rest of 2025. and i need to go preorder this. GOOOODDDDDDDDDDD

oh and thank you so much to netgalley and forever pub for the eARC. i love you. can i have a physical copy please

why was it so long and why did the chapters end with a finale paragraph every time

the random paragraphs summarizing dialogue in the middle of a dialogue exchange were SO ANNOYING. love u juice

an interesting take on the middle book!! loved the adventure and the angst and the making fun of america
