The only problem that I had with this book was that I wished it had been longer. There is soooooo much information that Vowell provides for any eager reader but even then it felt as if it had been edited for time. If you see my future feed populated by various American Revolutionary titles, don't be surprised. The audio edition is highly recommended. I mean, Nick Offerman as George Washington. Yes, and please, and thank you.
JK Rowling, as Robert Galbraith, doesn't pull any punches. Either I'm getting used to the gore or it wasn't as strong as the second book as I only gagged once instead of the three times for Silkworm.
If you dive into any of Robert Galbraith's titles, don't read them: get the audiobooks. Seriously, just go with the audiobooks. Robert Glenister's narration is perfection. All of the various GB accents are done perfectly and with great respect. If you do listen to the audio don't be surprised if you find yourself yelling at the characters, especially during tense moments.

OH MY LORD WHAT DID I JUST READ?!?!
ALL CAPS REVIEW AS MY BRAIN IS STILL TRYING TO PROCESS THIS STORY.
WE ARE ALL DOOMED AND EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL.
(Also I can't help but wonder if The World's End was a response to this novel.)
