This should have been edited down at least 100 pages or so. The characters made choices that didn't make sense. If it wasn't for Brandon Fraser narrating the second book, I would have given up on this series ages ago.

This is why I love to read Picture Books. Absolutely gorgeous and perfect.

I think I might use this for a Spring-themed storytime. Great pictures and descriptive words.

I wasn't expecting to plow through this book. I started it on a whim and before I knew it, I was 80 pages in. A fun book with great world building. This is one I'll be recommending to my teen readers if they haven't discovered it already.

Edit: Did the audiobook version as a reread. I had forgotten that Alina is actually a special butterfly.

Chole Bristol's art is perfect. I adore this book.

What a hoot this was. I'm sad that Dennie hasn't written anything else.
