The way that Ruth Ozeki unfolds all the parts of this story keeps the reader on their toes and gasping with insight when a new portion of the past is revealed. As you read Nao’s diary with Ruth you feel like Nao is talking to you as well. You are a part of the journey, too. Some of the struggles by Nao and other characters will stick with you, even after you have finished and set the book aside.

A Tale For A Time Being is an eye opening journey that will take you to places that you never imagined, might make you uncomfortable, and to find the power of love of forgiveness.

Weddings, Revenge, and Fake Dating by Rebel Warren was a steamy, flirty, romance that I couldn't put down. The spice level in this book was high. Nathan and Jeanie had a great chemistry together from the first awkward meet-cute, to the very end. Their banter and flirting was top-notch. While I struggled to like Jeanie in the beginning, she grew on me as the book went on. I enjoyed Nathan's character and the plot twist around his job. I finished this book in one day! I was hooked on how Nathan would convince Jeanie that he was better for her than her ex-husband and the shenanigans that Jeanie always seemed to find herself in. Weddings, Revenge, and Fake Dating is a fabulously funny, flirty, and steamy rom-com for the summer!
