Imperfect Chemistry by Mary Frame was a sweet college romance. I loved how Jensen helped open up Lucy's eyes to magic of letting someone in and sharing your life with them. I enjoyed how Lucy encouraged Jensen follow his dreams. This story gave me the cozy vibes I felt at my college apartment during the winter time. I was hesitant to be excited about this college romance, since they aren't really my jam, but I truly had a great time reading Imperfect Chemistry and can see myself reading the other books in the Imperfect Series.

The Fear Hunter by Eilse Sax was a quirky and mysterious, small town cozy. I was intrigued by Agatha and her Aunts. I wanted to know more about their history, but felt like I didn’t quite get enough. Though I’m sure more is explored in the following books. On that note about history, I found things that Agatha said or did to be so strange for someone who claims to be as old as she is. Those details bugged me, and I didn’t find them endearing like some of my book club members. The humor in this book was peculiar and didn’t really resonate with me. However, several of my book club friends found the story to be hilarious.

I liked Remington, but was disappointed in what happens with him at the end of this book. I really loved the creativity in all the murders and was definitely surprised by the killer. I liked all the different soups each day, was totally inspired to get cooking. Overall, I liked The Fear Hunter, but was just expecting more backstory and magic.

Defiant Heart by Brighton Walsh is a delicious, sexy romance read. I’m still thinking about it days later. Brady totally captured my heart! I loved that Luna was strong in her convictions and stood by them even when it wasn’t convenient. Brady’s alpha protector mode was HOT! I loved how he cared for Luna. Brady has defiantly become one of my favorite book boyfriends!

Love In The City by Jen Morris is such a sweet, bookish fun, slow burn read! I feel like Alex is someone that a lot of females can relate to. Her insecurities were so real and created a lot of emotions in me as a read. Michael as a single dad was so swoony as you watched him take care of his son. I totally didn’t see the plot twist with who is ex was until it was upon me. I loved that Alex was able to find some true friendships that really supported her. Love In The City was a fantastic read!
