Cute story. A software engineer turned bread maker. I wonder how many people will be extra entertained by this book given the explosion in sourdough-bakers since the lock down last year.

Exactly the cute clever mystery book I needed this week. Perfect for the coffee lover in your life.

Cute romance, easy read,quite enjoyable

Flashing between current day and to the 1890s past - telling the story of 1st generation Chinese woman who tragically finds herself displaced from Seattle to Orcas Island - intertwined with a current-day story of a woman reconnecting with her past and her gsmlly's history on the same island.

It was neat reading this while staying a couple islands south on Whidbey Island.

I liked how any time there was food mentioned, the chapter ends with a recipe for that item. An excellent spy novel. Too bad I heard the movie wasn't as good.

The story of 4 siblings who are told by a seer the date of their deaths. The book follows their lives and makes you wonder if it is it self fulfilling prophecy or physic insight?

Don't be surprised if they turn this into a movie. Tons of twists and turns, action and shock. The kind if book that may prevent you from falling asleep at night cause you want to keep reading.
