At the end of this audiobook there was an interview with the author and she said that she made the lead character to be a little bit Buffy thr Vampire Slayer, a little bit Stephanie Plum and a little bit Lorelai Gilmore - and yes she totally is. She's strong, talkative, brash, smart, and goofy. I dig her.

Loved this book. A page turner of family secrets.

It's amazing how much Desi Arnaz shaped television today. After learning about all the innovative business avenues he created, it made me wonder what amazing things he would have done in the age of Over The Top apps like Netflix Hulu and Peacock. Maybe there would have been a DesiLu app to rival all of them.

I love well-researched historical fiction mysteries. This one was excellent. Flashing between the 1990's and the 1910's a family mystery evolves and untangles. Loved it.

A strong memoir of an impressive athlete's commitment to her sport while holding her faith and her family strong by her side.

An excellent 2nd book of this YA trilogy. I'm curious where it will go next

Sometimes while reading this I had to remind myself it was taking place in the 90s-early 2000's and not the 50s or 60s. A pretty powerful story and a hard look into the repressive Hasidic community from a young woman's perspective.

An engaging thriller that I couldn't put down once I got into it, that also had me cringing at some of my own white reactions. I'm also embarrassed to say I never really understood gentrification before this. I'm glad my friend recommended the book. I enjoyed it

I learned about the building of the Brooklyn Bridge in college, but had forgotten much of what old learned. It's absolutely impressive. What a feat of engineering this was.

Listen to this as an audiobook so you can hear Justice Ginsburg in her own voice. An impressively strong, formidable, well-spoken, opinionated, considerate, thoughtful and collaborative woman. All adjectives I strive to be.
