At the end of this audiobook there was an interview with the author and she said that she made the lead character to be a little bit Buffy thr Vampire Slayer, a little bit Stephanie Plum and a little bit Lorelai Gilmore - and yes she totally is. She's strong, talkative, brash, smart, and goofy. I dig her.
