Hearing Jonathan narrate how own memoir makes it come alive. His passion, his resolve, his pain, his joy and his reflections are raw and out there for all to see. I'm impressed with his journey and his ability to reflect on it and hope that he's able to maintain his energy and positive space. His ability to be confident with accepting and expressing his femanine side is powerful. Rock on Queen.
Powerful. Meaningful. Thought provoking. Bryan Stevenson and his team at the Equal Justice Initiative have done some amazing work to impact the way criminal justice is done in this country but they also show how much more there is to accomplish.
I want to read the young adult version of this book with my daughter as well.

Thought provoking, challenging, and important. I'll need to listen to this again (and probably again after that) to better understand and absorb the many lessons out contains.
Engaging story, geeky details, love Wil Wheaton as a narrator. Can't wait to listen to more of the series.
I don't know if there are enough acronyms to describe this book. Touching, stunning, deep, thought-provoking, challenging, intense. Read it.
The audio book, performed by the author, was amazing. The stories he tells are insightful, engaging, hilarious and touching.
Engaging from the start. Makes you feel. Makes you think. Read this book.
Loved this book. An a amazing telling of boy growing to a man in the early 1800's in Philadelphia. Born if mixed race, but "passing" as white and being discovered. Moving and power. Impressively told.
