Not the story I expected, and I enjoyed it.

Sometimes a YA novel is just the thing. This series was sweet and thoughtful and engaging, and just the right amount of twists and turns.

This is wonderful as an audiobook, they weave in old tapes into the story and the two authors each tell their own part of their intertwined story. I will say the casual drug use freaks me out a bit as I near teenage-hood with my own daughter.

These are two impressive women.

Some powerful and important points in this age of data and algorithms influencing, running (and sometimes ruining) our lives. The author explains the dangers, impacts and possible solutions in relatively simple terms. Something to think about.

Solid murder mystery / thriller / suspense. It'll keep you guessing til the end

Lovely story, easy to read. If this was a series, I'd most definitely keep reading these characters more and more.

Geeky, sci-fi, space, dystopian, survival, Artificial Intelligence, cryogenics, references to Star Trek and even "all our base are belong to us" so many nerdy elements and I loved it all. Definitely reading more in the series.

Absolutely adored this book. Cleverly written. A unique story and perspective. It bounces between the story as told by Evelyn Hugo to her biographer Monique Grant, and Monique's own life while she's being told the story. Loved this. Highly recommend it.
