Intense read, will keep you hooked in all 3 parts of the book. The descriptions of what happened during WWII is frighteningly realistic. Really, all the story telling is well done and brings you into the moment

I love me a good young adult novel. I've really enjoyed Ms. Meyer's Lunar Chronicles series, and this book was excellent too. An fantastic telling of the prequel to a familiar tale.

Names and specifics were changed, but this is the story of the breakdown of Nora Ephron's 2nd marriage. It's interesting to try to decipher which parts are closer to reality than others. The narration by Meryl Streep on the audiobook is amazing (she also played the lead character in the 1980's movie).

Started a bit slow (maybe because it had been a little while since I read the first one?), but I quickly got into it and can't wait for the next book to get released. Wil Wheaton's narration just makes me smile.

Long, but gripping novel. The author describes things with such detail that you can picture every moment, but it's not overly done. The first couple chapters will leave you anxious and then you're hooked.
