Solid detective novel. I really like Bosch's new partner Lucy Soto. Looking forward to her in the next book (I hope!)

This book is unique in it's telling, it's story and it's setting. I'm hooked.

Good mystery with an some what successful addition of a touching /woman's club /connecting-with-eachother thing. It was certainly enjoyable.

Sufficiently cheesey, but very entertaining vampire-romance novel. You've got to be in the right mood for it, but if you are, you'll enjoy it.

I read this book as a young girl and was happily surprised at how much I remembered of it. So many of the scenes are so powerful that they've stuck with me through decades. Anne is an amazing woman, incredibly strong, thoughtful, determined and courageous.

A mystery within a mystery. Clever, but parts of it grated against me. I didn't like how it's starts off by breaking down the 4th wall.
