Nice weekend read. Having grown up in Utah, I'm always delighted to stumble into a book that takes place there.  I found this book after seeing that a movie was made about it, so I wanted to read the book first. I'm glad I did.

Modern college romance in London. Fake dating trope. Loved the narration of this audio book it really brought the characters to life. 

The plot summary sounds entertaining, but the narration and the writing style turned me off hard in the first 10 minutes. The cadence and intonation was a non-starter unfortunately. 

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and understand why there is such a wait for it at the library. It's nostalgic, it's complicated, it's emotional, realistic and engaging. It's not all happy and it's not all sad. Hooked from the start to the end. 

A historical historical fiction (written in 1930) taking place in rural China 

No doubt, Dolly Parton is an impressive, strong and talented woman. Her confidence is inspiring. She came from humble beginnings and owns her success and credits her hard work. 

The audiobook is odd. It's only one side of an interview (you don't hear the interviewers questions, and she doesn't always answer in complete sentences and when that happens you're reminded that it's only one half of the conversation. 

Impressive that this many books into a series they're still solid, engaging and gripping. I love the Renee Ballard character.

A tough, challenging and important story to read. My daughter is reading this at school so I decided to read it along with her and I'm glad I did. 

A fun ghost-witch mystery with plenty of ghosts and a haunted house to make it fun. Looking forward to the sequel 

A beautiful story that spans decades, starting with 3 distinct threads that eventually intersect and weave together. It takes place in Kerala, India. The book is long and worth it.
