So so so good. I love Rhys and this is so much better than the first one. 5 stars for its genre but lower rating because it’s not great prose/language/writing in that way but is great plot building, plot twists, loveable characters and good romance.
I loved feyre’s growth in this book, it was relatable

I love this series and this 3rd book was just as good as the 1st two. I love Backman’s writing and how the characters are so multifaceted.
Only thing I wish there was more of in this book compared to the first two books in the series is I would have liked to have more about the hockey - I liked how the others were a better blend of both the hockey games and the people off the ice.
Overall great conclusion to the series and both heartbreaking and heartwarming

Omg the last 20% was amazing. I didn’t love the beginning but I think it’s based on how the memoir is structured chronologically, and it actually fits well that I would relate to the ending (late 20s years) most. Lighthearted and funny and relatable. I want to get the hard copy and highlight some of it.

This book has a great plot (although cringily predictable at times). I loved how it built and the magical realism in it which I’ve been into lately. I liked the cast of characters, but did not think they were all fully developed and some chapters felt their purpose was just for the reader to see that they arrived at an “a ha” that was already revealed in an earlier chapter from that character’s perspective — i.e. the extra perspective didn’t always add to the story.
Giving 4 stars because it was a “can’t put it down” novel and the topic of cartography and the setting of the library was great.
