For some reason, I simply find this book endearing. While it takes a little while to get used to the writing style, the elements were nonetheless captivating. The characterizations is definitely something to take note of as the author took a normally feminine aspects and merge it to the MMCs personality- and done so beautifully.

For those starting with Fantasy, this is definitely something recommended

There's so much to love about this book. I don't read LitFic as often as I used to but I always look for that base element of in depth discussions on themes as a writing approach - this did not disappoint.

The themes about modern marriage especially, hits hard. For someone approaching my middle age years in a long time relationship, the expectations indeed are different from my younger years. Of course, there are regrest but there's also fulfillment with what I have now. This book discussea the in betweens and the what if's respectfully and non-biased at all.

The family concept was also explored in detail and the conversations are just so relatable. The characters are someone whom I can also see myself talking to in real life and receiving realistic answers.

I like the writing approach, has a loy of dark and twisted turns that were done beautifully- just wished to have more in depth characterization

Read this for the 4th time and I am still in awe with the magic system, the vivid descriptives and the story

First half, I'm so into it. Then it kinda went downhill from there. I was so confused on the transition on the second half until ended. So many questions

This is just as pretty as the cover!

I adored Daughter of the Moon Goddess so much which I picked randomly cause of the cover

Who knew I'd be back to the Mafi world after Shatter Me, well I'm glad I did. I like this thousand times better than Shatter Me, probably because this was written years after the SM series which means some of the writing nuances of the author has improved. I am still at odds with how tight the storyline is but let's see how Book Two fares

As short as it is, its actually a pretty cool novella. Had some backstory that I never thought I needed
