Omg this book....what can I say? I knew it would be good but I didn't expect it to be THAT good. The only thing that stopped me from devouring it in a day is because life got in the way! It gave me severe anxiety as I was really worried what was going to happen to Sonny the little baby. I have a young son too and it really hit home about how fragile children are. However I won't ruin the ending. But it was both happy and sad! Loved it! Cannot recommend it enough! I'll be ordering the rest of her books now!

This book was a rollercoaster! On every page something happened. Some things good and then BAM something awful. The main character is 16 but boy is she feisty and brave! I loved her energy and sarcasm. This book is dark and gory so definitely a warning for people who don't like that sort of thing. But the ending was perfect and even though some of the characters suffered so badly and it was uncomfortable to read at times, the story worked and flowed. And I wasn't sure what to expect at every turn of the page.

I literally don't even know where to start with this book ... I hope I can do it justice!
It gripped me from the start and wouldn't let go! I finished it in 2 days. Would have been 1 day but life got in the way!
I don't want to give too much away but let's just say that as I began reading I noticed more and more instances that I could really connect with. One of my worst fears is in this book (and I was too scared to read it when it got dark because I'm a wimp!)
If you love creepy ghost stories, edge of your seat thrillers and spine tingly suspense then this book is for you. And the end? ... CHILLS! and what's even more amazing is this is based on true events! Read it ... now!

I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did after watching and loving the series. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series. Very entertaining and different to my usual reads.

Omg...this book...
I'd seen mixed reviews. Apparently you either love it or you hate it and I certainly loved it! From the first page I was hooked and I was excited to pick it up every night and read.
The ending blew my mind. I thought I saw it coming and then BAM!
I found it to be cleverly written and honestly one of the best thrillers I've read.

I really enjoyed this book. I put it straight to the top of my to be read pile. I would say the pace was a bit slow in places and to be honest I didn't really like Beth, the main character and now (after getting to the end) I know why! I found I just wanted to slap her at first but it all makes sense in the end. It was a great read though and I was surprised by the ending. A thoroughly enjoyable read!

I have to say that this book surprised me in the best way possible. I've never read a collection of short stories before so I wasn't sure how I would get on with it or if I'd enjoy them as much as a full length novel. But I really did! The stories all share something in common; a cursed necklace, but the mention of the necklace is so subtle and I found myself thinking where it would pop up in the story. Were the characters truly cursed or did they just have awful things happen to them? Some moments while reading actually gave me goosebumps. A great, quick read. Some scary and horrifying moments!

I'd heard a lot of hype about this so I watched the show and then decided to read the book. I'm not sure if it's because I watched the show first or not but it took me a while to get into this book. It picked up a bit in the middle but I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped. It was a good read though and I'll certainly read the others in the series.

This was a tough read for me as it is not my usual genre, but at least I gave it a go! Did I enjoy it? Not really. Was it a good book? Yes, it was an amazing book, but just not what I would call a page turner for me. However I did find the characters fascinating and the ending was quite a shock that I didn't see coming!

This book is not my usually genre and I'd heard so many good things, but also a few negative things, but I had high hopes... and I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself drawn in by the characters and their loves. I hated some. I loved some. And I rooted for them. It's not a book with a straightforward plot. It goes back and forth, sideways and upwards but I didn't find I got confused. The only issue I had was that in part two I did get a bit confused why there were so many new characters being added near the end. I didn't find I was attached to the random characters as I was the main characters. A great read which I enjoyed with a glass of gin in the summer sun!
