Revis gets Leia and Han SO right. I could perfectly imagine Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in each of these roles. I also adored all the connections to the movies and other novels. This was just a fantastic read. 

The narration in this book doesn’t feel like Luke Skywalker, nor was I very interested in his “Alliance To-Do List”, but it was an okay read…I guess. The pacing was very odd and the story didn’t have much structure at all. It was definitely a story, though!

Some relationships really could have been developed more, but otherwise I loved this novel and it’s unique magic system!

The last two lines of the book were absolutely uncalled for.
