informative inspiring

Personally, nothing ground breaking but a reminder I needed. I think a lot of people could benefit from reading this.
dark mysterious slow-paced
adventurous inspiring medium-paced

Fantasy just isn’t my normal genre. It’s hard for me to follow and keep track of who’s who and does what. If it were my genre I’m sure I would have loved it.
informative inspiring fast-paced

Stuff some of us already know but it’s always good to hear it.

As expected.

A Short History of Nearly Everything

Bill Bryson

Not my thing.
emotional hopeful slow-paced

A bit drawn out and felt very anticlimactic. I thought a bigger shoe was going to drop. But overall a cute heartwarming story.

Listen for the Lie

Amy Tintera

Returned to the library. I wasn’t really feeling it anyway. I can see why the audiobook is the way to go with this one, especially if you like podcasts…
dark slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix

Really struggling to see what people loved so much about this book. I guess if you have no connection to racist history of the south this book could be “entertaining”. But for someone who GETS IT, it left much to be desired.

One of Our Own

Returned to the library. And honestly it was a little dark for this moment in time for me.
