dark sad tense

It was okay. I haven’t read a Tarryn Fisher book in years. Story seemed to have a lot of holes, or loose angles but it was okay.
emotional hopeful

JUST LOVED. A perfect nod to pre-social media/wifi times. A pretty perfectly written book for NY’ers. I can’t imagine not being from NY and reading this. Total tug on all the heart strings. ❤️

❤️ probably my favorite book of the year. Predictable but so sweet.
dark medium-paced

A lot of build up for a lot of nothing.
informative reflective

Dry as hell but thought provoking, and informative. Stress will literally make you sick.
slow-paced

Idk what I even read. A lot of character, a lot of different POVs; honestly it was hard to keep up with. The parts I did understand I enjoyed though.

Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Loveable characters: Yes

As expected. Earned an extra half star for the realness of being a middle aged mother who has been married a long time and has a teenaged daughter. ❤️
