It was funny. Loved the dialogue and inner monologue but otherwise… 

Started strong. Unimpressed ending. 

Solid black mirror episode. 

Honestly, re-reading this book as an actual American adult in 2025 is crazy. The idea that this is sometimes considered a banned book is even more crazy. I couldn’t tell you what I got out of this as a high schooler reading this - probably nothing. But as an adult it’s very eerie. 

Burning and destroying books simply because knowledge was power. Not allowing people to have different or more thoughtful thoughts…. Hmmm….

WILD. Modern day zombie apocalypse. Scary because it’s so close to reality. Definitely not for everyone but should be. 

Informative and I’d recommend it to anyone. But I got to a point in the book where it wasn’t relative or practical (for me). I’ll probably always use the book for reference of concepts.
