I wish I could have enjoyed this book as much as the others but I think it’s mostly because this is the only book out of the three where I was so frustrated with Diane. The ‘who will she pick’ anticipation might have been better if I didn’t really dislike one of the options. But overall this was fun and I will probably pick up more from this author soon!

Normally I find business/office romances pretty disappointing. The tag lines are cheesy enough to make me cringe. And this time the story centers an auditor so on top of everything else I had too many flashbacks that could have ruined my mood while reading this book. By some miracle I really enjoyed it anyways! It helped that the cheesy accounting references were at a minimum and over with towards the beginning of the book. I love Diane so much. She’s meddling in the best way. I also love Ash and Zelda.

Loved. Obsessed. Only regret is that I didn’t realize this was the third book in the series and I wish I had read them in order because I’m weird like that.

I wasn’t a fan of either main character. They came across either poorly written or inconsistent. Maybe novellas just aren’t my thing.

Ugh. I hate to rate this just two stars because I have loved the first nine books in this series. But this one is easily my least favorite. I think the pacing felt weird for me. With the other books I feel like I finished them in one sitting and this one kind of dragged. I wasn’t a fan of the hero or heroine, and looking back I don’t think there were any characters that I really felt attached to, where as with the other books it felt like I loved the whole cast of characters. The heroine, Claray was kind of bland. Her quirk is that she’s great with animals but it felt cartoonishly so. And the hero was also very bland. There are hints to them enjoying each others’ company and conversation but it’s mentioned. You don’t actually really see any of it. And normally I love the mystery and feel like 75% of the way into the book I have a few guesses of who it could be. But this time, the villain was just so random and out of left field. I hope there’s more, because I would hate to finish the series like this. A story about Kenna or Payton, or even Alick going back to the Buchanans would be awesome!

I wanted to rate this book higher but it wasn't that enjoyable. The story was very much princess diaries 2 which I would have love but the added frozen references with the whole ice princess thing felt meh, and Serafina is annoyingly innocent. Like it's really drilled that she's never been in a relationship or dated and barely had any kisses, while Rafe is a womanizer. But while Rafe gets some character growth or depth, Sefarina just felt flat. Overall it was okay and honestly I'll probably read the second story anyways because I think I'll like Phillip. Also I love Kat and Claudius and I almost wish I got more of them in this book.

This was fine. I kind of wish it wasn’t a novella and there was more build up but I think that might be a personal preference. If you’re looking for a quick rush of excitement I would go for it!

I was so excited for a book about Rory Buchanan and it wasn't at all what I was expecting but I loved it.  Elysande is perfect for him minus the few attempts in the beginning where she tried to mimic a Scottish accent.  It was so cringe and the second hand embarrassment I got was so bad I didn't think I'd be able to finish the book after looking forward to it for so long.  The epilogue was also a nice way to wrap up the story, I was a bit worried because the pacing of this book felt different to the others.  Can't wait for the last book, if it's not about Alick, I will riot.  I'm not ready to let go of the Buchanans yet.

I love Geordie and Dwyn together. They sound like the perfect pair. I also am just more and more obsessed with the Buchanan family. Basically no one speak to me before I finish this series and when I do finish it, leave me alone to cry that there aren’t more books.

I was really excited for a story about Conran and somehow it wasn’t as exciting as I hoped. Maybe because I feel like I figured out who was behind the attempts to murder Evina pretty quickly I was just anxious to know already for most of the book. Of all the heroines so far, Evina is probably one I connected with the most in some ways and the story between her and Conran was heart warming overall. But I need a story about Rory like, yesterday!
