I’ve been struggling with finding romance novellas that I enjoy, but I actually really liked this one. I genuinely loved the characters and wish there was more of the story.

I loved Ayesha at Last, so I was really looking forward to Hana Khan Carries On. And I was not disappointed at all. While the romance and stories are always wonderful the way Uzma Jalaluddin builds these beautiful representations of family and community are my favorite. They remind me so much of my own experiences in all the best ways.

I really loved Nathan and Harper. They were such a great couple. But I think what I love about this series is that the secondary relationships and dynamics are also so much fun. Ending the series with this couple, I'm so tempted to dive into the NFL romance series that starts with Nixon.

I love Lukas. This is another one of those books that it can be read as a standalone but it's so much better when you get get to experience bits of the MCs history in the previous books. I actually had read the Carolina Reapers series first so it was awesome to see Lukas and Faith's story finally.

This was definitely the heaviest and most intense book so far in the series. But I really enjoyed it. I love Hudson and Shea and Elliot. I love all the boys actually. But Hudson might be the sweetest one on the team. The way he is considerate is heart melting.

Connor is too sweet! He and Ivy together were fun. Hannah has my heart. I also can’t wait for Porter and Lukas’ stories. Even though these books can be read as standalones it’s just so much better when you have a solid understanding/relationship with secondary characters from the previous books. And I think for this one in particular it makes a notable difference in how invested I was or would have been in their initial dislike for each other.

This book is the one for me. It was everything! Strangers to friends to lovers. Boss’ daughter. Forbidden love. And all the MCU fun was like the cherry on top! Eric and Pepper are also just perfect together. Like in the best way. Also love the set up for Connor and Ivy and I can’t wait for that one to absolutely wreck me.

This was actually a really sweet romance. It had all the super heart wrenching stuff. Childhood friends. Friends to lovers. Second chance romance. Total soulmates stuff. Content warning for an abusive relationship.

I know we all melt watching a bad boy flip a switch and turn into a loving dad but three unplanned pregnancies in the same group of friends feels like a bit much and kind of repetitive. I’m not against couple endings including kids but the baby being a plot device over and over again was kind of getting old. And I think I just didn’t imagine the same type of story for Warren and Jeannine too. After the first two books Jeannine had so much potential to be a great heroine but instead she just kind of fell flat at best, or was annoying at worst. I adore seeing the guys support each other, and I’m trying to not be unfairly harsh towards the girls but I feel like the story just didn’t do justice to Jeannine with what we know about her in the first two books.

I really liked Rory and Paige. Even though it was obvious in the first book the three best guy friends would basically end up with the three best girlfriends doesn’t make it any less cute. Super excited for Jeanine and Warren next.
