This was fun. As the nanny trope goes it’s probably one of the better ones. The childhood friend to lovers trope I think helped in making it feel like it wasn’t just some whirlwind romance. But I’m excited to see more of the friends in the next books.

Overall I enjoyed this series and I loved this last book better than the one before it. After the first few books in the series I wasn’t expecting many fantasy elements in this story but I enjoyed it! I am definitely going to go back to read the clan Grant series because I didn’t realize this was in some ways a spin off of that series.

Maxim and Evie are probably one of my favorite couples. Besides them the story between Maxim and Sterling is also really heartwarming. I NEED a book about Asher and Daisy. I’m not sure if this is the end of the series, I got the feeling that it was, but I think the only thing I would have changed is that some of the characters I loved kind of disappeared from the team without any real mention of what happened to them. Just a brief mention of them retiring or maybe they play them after being traded to a different team would have been nice.

This one got me right in the ovaries. So cute. Brogan and Fiona are a really good couple. I think as a whole one of the few disappointments I have with this series is how some of the characters just never show up again. Even a tif bit about them being traded or retired would be sufficient but it seems a bit odd given how much this team is ‘like a family.’ Also I’m learning that every hockey/sports series needs a teammate with an accent (Russian, Scottish, etc.) and one nanny romance lol

This book definitely deviated from the others in the series. There was very little hockey involved other than mention of the boys being teammates and timing/deadlines related to the start of the season. This one was definitely more small town romcom with a bunch of tropes like childhood friends to lovers, girl/boy next door, etc. it was cute but definitely not my favorite. More than anything I need a story about Asher Silas falling in love.

Absolute cuties. I love guessing who is going to end up being a thing in future books. I am a little sad that some of the original teammates in the series just kind of exited with no explanation but I guess it makes sense. Players get traded all the time. The relationship between Sterling and Maxim has me especially excited for Maxim's book since I think we'll get to see that grow more too.

I don’t know if it’s because Cannon is perfect or if this had all the right tropes that I just loved. Or maybe it aligned just right with my mood. But everything in this story fell into place perfectly for me. I think this might be my favorite couple in the series. Also while these books are usually great as standalone, this one I think is better if you’ve read the few before to see the tension build between Cannon and Persephone.

This book was probably my rich hockey player falls for normal bookworm dreams. I love Logan and Delaney. I’m excited to see more of them in the next book since Connan and Logan are clearly bffs.

I knew it was gonna be Connell and Anabelle but I was still so excited and I loved it. Anabelle reminded me so much of Leslie Knope in some ways. Especially considering her big plan was an ostrich reserve, when it turns out there aren't a lot of ostriches that need rescuing.  Connell is full of jokes as always but it's so much fun.  Also I need Logan and Conan’s stories asap. The way they were teased throughout this whole story has me excited for the next two books in the series.

I love Sawyer and Echo. Actually all the main reapers. I love the little Easter eggs about the guys the future books will be about. It’s like I’m already in love with them.
