I really loved this story, although in some ways it was unexpected towards the end.  I love Brenna and that she's a strong, capable, and smart healer.  I also really love both of the families that are coming together in this series.  Quade was a little annoying at times but not the worst.  The kids also sound adorable.  Lily sometimes steals the show for sure.

This was JUST the right amount of messy. And I am here for it!! Honestly the only thing I would wish differently was there being an epilogue, even if it was like for two weeks later. Also please don’t make me wait for Zues and Hera. I already can’t take it 😭

Ada Limon is quickly becoming one of my favorite poets.  I really loved this collection.

I was really enjoying this book in the beginning but then the last fourth of the book felt like it was racing to tie up certain plot lines.  The healing that I expected to be sweet ended up feeling incredibly rushed and I think that kind of took away from everything that had led up to that point.  The remainder of the book continued at a pace that didn't really make sense for me.  Also content warning for physical abuse, torture, and rape.

God this book dragged.  There's also some islamaphobic comments I can't ignore.  I think in general I need to remove a lot of these outdated works from my tbr.  A lot of what's being said has been said better by others in my opinion.  Sometimes the essays didn't even seem to have much of a coherent thought or point.  Also major trigger warning in the first essay.  It felt like the author was relying on shock value.

Even though these books could be read as standalones it’s so much better to read them all together. The ending would not have felt as fun. I love Savannah and Owen. I also loved Georgie and Jean and was really excited to see that there’s a short novella starring those two!

This story was sweet but it’s my least favorite in the series. Sometimes the MCs were a bit cringe. But overall I adore the small town setting. Content warning for an abusive relationship/emotional abuse.

I really love the premise of this whole series. And the beginning was so much fun. Enemies to lovers and the MCs being so much a part of each other’s childhood. I also just loved the big Greek community. Reminds me so much of Punjabi communities so it felt nostalgic in a way.

I wish I had better language to discuss poetry and articulate why something is good.  There are pieces of this poetry that really stuck with me and in the end I guess that's most of what matters.
emotional fast-paced

Content warning, there are poems that deal with infertility and mention of a loss of a child. I was not prepared for the ways these poems would make me feel. But aside from that I absolutely loved the prose.
