I really liked Roddy and Rose. This was a sweet story while also moving along the common plot throughout the series. CW for trauma and physical abuse/torture. It was also nice to mix it up and see a warrior that's struggling with death.

These books are pretty quick reads. Braden and Cairstine are cool. I don't think there was anything particularly stand out about them but also nothing that I really hated either.

I really liked Anna and David. I think it was a nice way to mix it up with a couple that's sort of already established or through a more traditional path also being in love and fighting for it.

I really love Maggie and Will. I'm also just very partial to the family in this series and having seen Maggie in one of the first books seeing her grow and overcome her tragic start is awesome. Also the premise of this set of books I think is going to be interesting. Especially having read so many in a row of this series, the mystery of trying to stop an illegal human trafficking operation is going to make things interesting. These books are a quick read around 200 pages.

This was a great story. A great concept. The artwork is incredible. I wish it was a bit longer. Especially the ending, I wish had been drawn out more. But I really enjoyed reading this.

This was so precious and adorable and had the perfect rom com vibes. There were so many times I squealed, or thought to myself "Eve No!" but it was perfect. Eve and Jacob together are perfect. And it all happens at a B&B in a small town. STOP! Too cute!

I love Danika and Zafir more that I can explain. I'm pretty sure Zaf is up there in terms of dream boyfriends. Dani I love not because we are really similar but because she's so incredibly cool and I'm devastated that I'll never be her. Also, when I read Get a Life Chloe Brown, I knew I would enjoy reading Dani and Eve's stories too, but after reading Take a Hint, I need Kiran and Jamal's story. I also need a story about Sorcha. I basically loved the entire cast of characters in this book.

I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I was excited for this book, and the description had so much potential but the execution wasn't quite there for me. I would best describe the vibe or setting as Practical Magic meets Halloweentown. Which would have been awesome, except it felt like there were a lot of ideas or details that either weren't fully incorporated to the plot or world building or were just thrown in randomly in an attempt to add some more magic. Lucy and her sisters are witches but they're not shown doing a lot of witchy things except for this wish spell, but then out of no where Lucy can stir ice with her mind? Or there's this scene where Alex let's Lucy see his tail, and it isn't until way after that apparently that's a big deal for a merman to do? The pacing also felt odd to me. It was like a slow burn except all the banter felt like really forced sexual innuendos. It mostly came across as cringe, and I think it made it hard for me to get into the main couple. But it looks like this will be a series and honestly I was excited at the hints at some of the other possible couples in future books.

Despite being in a reading slump when I picked up this book, I found that I carried it with me everywhere. I've quickly become a fan of Ada Limon, and in a lot of ways this is the poetry that resonates with me on a different level. The prose is beautiful and it's one of the first times that I find myself really taking my time with a collection of poetry and sitting with the individual poems.

While it’s not my favorite collection of poetry by Ada Limon I still really enjoyed it!
